Surplus Knights Armament MK11 Mod 0 Upper Kit

Surplus Knights Armament MK11 Mod 0 kit (minus the lower). This is a surplus kit that was used in the field and does show some age and fielding wear. It would be an excellent display piece but also has plenty of life left to be a tac driver if completed.

Included in the package is:

• lower internal parts kit
• A2 stock
• A2 grip
• buffer tube
• buffer spring
• buffer
• complete upper (BCG & charging handle)

The rifle was formally standardized as the MK11 Mod 0 around May 2000 by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

Key features of the adopted system:

• 20-inch barrel (shorter, more maneuverable)
• Chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO
• Free-floating rail system for optics and accessories
• Quick-detach suppressor capability
• Issued as a complete sniper system (rifle, optic, suppressor, bipod, etc.)

This made it one of the first widely fielded semi-automatic sniper systems (SASS) in U.S. service.

The Mk 11 Mod 0 saw extensive use during:
