The SAM Chest Seal Combo includes both a valved and non-valved chest seal in one convenient package. Having a valved and non-valved chest seal allows for the treatment of both an entry and exit wound or multiple penetrating chest injuries.

The one-way valve provides for low-resistance airflow from the chest cavity while preventing ingress. The valve is also designed to prevent blockage internally. The domed shape of the valve prevents external obstruction of the air channels from items such as blankets, clothing, and body armor.
