The WFM is issued to almost every unit in the US Army.

 

Its design requires no tools and accepts lights and lasers with 17 mm to 26 mm circumferences.

 

It is a light weight machined aluminum and mounts to most Weaver or Picatinny styled rail system.

 

The WFM will accept smaller flashlights such as the Mini-Mag Lite and Streamlight Luxeon 3AA and larger tactical lights such as the Inova T-Series and X Series, Streamlight Scorpion, or Pelican M-6.
