Surplus FN MK17 MOD 0 5.56x45mm Conversion Bolt Carrier

Surplus FN America SCAR 17 H Bolt Carrier, Full Auto

This particular carrier was part of the adaptable system issued alongside the MK17 to quickly convert to 5.56x45mm. It is extremely rare as FN never made the conversion kit commercially available.

The SCAR was originally suppose to have a common receiver to replace most rifles in SOCOM but they decided to spilt it into the MK16 and MK17. All the MK16's that were fielded seem to have been turned in, however the MK17 MOD 0 in the 5.56 configuration appears to be the only remaining configuration in use.
