This is a 5/8 inch riser mount that was used by the US military, most likely for the PEQ-2 but we’re not sure. It has 6 slots, making it a great size for various red dots and lasers, or even micro prism style optics at 2.5 inches in length. It attaches securely with a simple screw. The 5/8 inch height is perfect to bring a lower 1/3 co-witness optic up to a 1.93 height more friendly to usage with a gas mask or night vision. Overall this is a solid way to raise your optic up and have your weapon fit you perfectly.

PEQ-2 Riser
I have seen old GWOT photos indicating this is a PEQ-2 riser as alluded to in the description. Unit appears to be tough as nails and fits perfectly under an Eotech XPS optic. NOTE: an Aimpoint QRP mount will not attach to this riser.

Useful rails for Unity style red dot mounting
These rails work great for getting the red dot or hws raised up. Currenty using it to raise up an Aimpoint PRO to get that Unity height.
